I've been thinking a lot about Donell McDonald's passion for education and how much promise he had. Balancing a job as a Finance Manager and attending The Ohio State University is no small feat, and it shows a level of dedication that truly stands out. It's clear he was setting himself up for a bright future and was probably an inspiration to those around him. His connection to the Success Kidz Childcare Center must have brought joy to so many children and families. It's so tragic that his journey was cut short in such a violent way. I'm sure he's deeply missed by his colleagues and by the kids whose lives he touched. This loss isn’t just felt by his family but by the entire community he was so actively a part of. I'm hoping they're finding strength together in this difficult time. It’s important we keep their memories alive and support efforts to address issues related to domestic violence that might help prevent future tragedies.
