Has anyone else been thinking about the timing in Ashley Herald's case? It just really bothers me that she was shot on April 13, but didn’t pass away until April 22. An incredibly difficult time for her loved ones, knowing she was fighting for her life for all those days. I keep wondering if there were any moments of hope or if she was able to communicate at all. It's just unimaginable what her family must have gone through during that period. So much of the focus is rightfully on bringing justice, but I hope Ashley's family has found some form of peace or closure since then. It’s a painful reminder of how precious life is and how quickly things can change. Sending thoughts to anyone who knew her.
