I've been following the Michael and Fannie Lewis case for a while, and something that's been on my mind is the role that their vehicle might have played in the investigation. The fact that they were found in a Chevy Traverse with New York plates seems significant. Could the out-of-state plates suggest they were targeted because it made them seem unfamiliar or out of place, possibly marking them as easier targets for the gang? I feel for their families, having to navigate the unanswered questions on top of their grief. This case is such a painful reminder of how senseless violence can tear lives apart. I hope that the legal proceedings bring some semblance of peace to those impacted, and it's reassuring to see law enforcement so committed to tackling this gang activity. Let's hope this leads to a safer community for everyone.
