I find myself haunted by the tragic loss of Cindy Gesaman and her brother Ryan. What really gets my attention about this case is the 911 call from Dean Simms. It's chilling to think about how a lifetime of family tension escalated to such a horrific point. It makes me wonder about the moments leading up to that call—what was said? Was there a chance it could have been prevented if someone had intervened earlier? I can only imagine the anguish Cindy and Ryan's loved ones must be going through, trying to understand how this happened in their family. Hinckley, OH, must feel so different now, with this tragedy casting such a long shadow. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this devastating event.
