Hey everyone, I've been following the Fairy Olmstead case on and off, and there's always been one piece of the puzzle that's stuck out to me—the 1981 Chevrolet Citation they were last seen driving. By now, that car would be quite distinctive due to its age, yet it seems like it's just vanished into thin air. Has anyone looked into whether it could have been abandoned somewhere remote? I know it's been years and that an old car could potentially be unrecognizable by now, but it seems like such a crucial part of the mystery. Does anyone have thoughts on why there haven't been any reported sightings of this vehicle over the years? Maybe there’s an angle we’ve been missing all along. Would appreciate any insights or thoughts on the matter.
Does anyone remember that old blue 1981 Chevrolet Citation that Fairy Olmstead and her kids were last seen in? I’ve been doing some reading on cold cases in the Bella Vista area, and it’s odd how a whole car just seems to disappear off the face of the earth. I mean, cars usually leave behind some sort of evidence, right? Either spotted on a camera, reported abandoned, or even parts showing up somewhere. Maybe the unique paint color or any old odometer readings might ring a bell with someone who worked in car sales/service back then? Seems like trying to find the car could be a big clue in figuring out what happened to this family. Any mechanic or car specialist who worked around that time got thoughts on where a car like that might turn up or go unnoticed? Looking forward to any ideas or theories that might help shed some light on this long-standing mystery.
