I’ve been following the Pike County shootings for a while, and I can't stop thinking about the overwhelming grief the Rhoden family must still be experiencing. I recently learned that Gary Dwayne Rhoden was found near the front door of his trailer home on Union Hill Road. It's so jarring to picture someone in the place they likely felt most secure, only for such a terrifying act to happen there. It's an awful reminder of how fragile life can be. I hope the Rhodens find support within their community as they continue to process this unimaginable loss. Thinking about Gary and the rest of the family today.

I've been following the Pike County shootings case closely, and I can't stop thinking about the community impact. Losing eight people from the same family in such a brutal way must have deeply affected Piketon. It’s not just the immediate family who have had their lives turned upside down but the entire community. Imagine the ripple effects at schools, workplaces, and local gatherings. Anyone close to the Rhodens—neighbors, friends, coworkers—has probably had to grapple with fear and loss in the wake of this tragedy. Community events and memorials can help with healing, but I hope there’s been access to counseling and support for those who need it. It’s so important to provide spaces for collective grieving and processing when a tragedy shakes a small town like this one. If anyone from that area is here, I’d love to hear how the community is holding up today.

Hey everyone, I've been following the Pike County shootings for a while, and I can't stop thinking about Gary Dwayne Rhoden and where he was found. It's chilling to imagine such a violent act happening right at the front door of his home. It feels so personal, like it was meant to send a message. Has anyone else thought about this aspect and why the killers might have targeted him right there? My heart goes out to the parents, siblings, and friends of Gary and the whole Rhoden family. It's difficult to process the pain they must be experiencing, yet their perseverance in seeking justice is truly inspiring. Anyone else have thoughts on how the community is coping post-trial?
