I came across this case recently and have been thinking about Randy Budd's incredible strength during such a devastating time. It's just so sad that his pain became unbearable after everything he and Sharon went through. I read that he really pushed for protective fencing on highway overpasses to prevent something like this from happening again—shows what kind of person he was, always thinking of others even while dealing with unimaginable heartbreak. It makes me wonder how much more could be done to support families facing such tragedies. Sending thoughts to the Budd family and all who knew and loved Randy.
