Has anyone else been following the strange twists in the Jacquez Lawson case? I was reading about the police chase and how it led to him tragically jumping off a balcony. It’s just so hard to wrap my head around how a situation can escalate so quickly. I can’t imagine the heartache his family must be going through, especially knowing Antonio Taylor Jr. is charged but not in custody. It’s frustrating to think someone’s out there who might have answers to what really happened. It also makes me wonder about the level of communication between the officers who were involved. Were there any protocols that could have prevented this from ending the way it did? It’s impossible not to feel for his family and friends who are left with so many unanswered questions. It’s got to be incredibly hard for the community as well, seeing one of their own gone too soon.
