Has anyone else been thinking about the people David was visiting on the night of the break-in? It must be unbelievably difficult for them too. They were just having a regular evening, and then their lives are shattered by this senseless act. I read somewhere that they confronted the intruders—how brave and terrifying that must have been! I wonder if these friends have been able to provide any more details that could help crack the case. They probably have some crucial insights, even if they don’t realize it.
I truly hope the police and detectives are working closely with them to see if there’s anything else that might lead to these suspects. It’s already been so many years, and it’s frustrating not knowing who did this or why. Seeing justice served would be such a significant relief for everyone involved. I keep hoping this will finally be the year that someone comes forward with the right information. We owe it to David and his family to keep pushing for answers.
Hi everyone,
I came across David LeeAndre Hodge's case recently, and I can't stop thinking about the possibility that he knew his assailants. From what I've read, the break-in seemed targeted, which makes me wonder what the connection might have been. It's incredibly sad to think someone might betray a trust like that, especially since he was such a beloved father and friend.
I feel for his family, who must be struggling with unanswered questions all these years later. If the suspects were known to him somehow, maybe their movements around Columbus might give us more clues? I hope someone will step up to provide the information needed for a breakthrough.
Has there been any discussion about potential witnesses who might have seen the silver Nissan Rogue that was mentioned? Any help could be crucial for bringing some peace to his family and ensuring justice is served.
Stay safe, everyone.

Every time I think about David LeeAndre Hodge's case, I just can't wrap my head around how something like this remains unsolved. What's been on my mind recently is how sadly common it is for home invasions to turn deadly, but you never expect it to hit so close to home. David was just visiting friends, doing something we all do without a second thought, and now his family is left with questions and unimaginable grief.
It's really baffling that no one has been able to pin down these suspects, especially with a vehicle as identifiable as a silver Nissan Rogue involved. Even if the break-in was targeted, you'd think someone somewhere might have seen something that could lead to a break in the case. I just hope that the reward from Crime Stoppers motivates someone to come forward soon; his daughters deserve justice for their father.
It's stories like these that remind me of how vital community involvement is in solving crimes. If anyone here has heard anything, even if it seems minor, it might be the piece that investigators need. Let’s keep David’s memory alive and support his family in seeking the justice they deserve.
