Something that really troubles me about Benjamin Werner's case is the impact of substance abuse, which is a factor that seems to weave through so many tragedies. No parent should have to experience the trauma of losing a child, especially under such violent circumstances. I really hope that his family finds some peace and that this case serves as a wake-up call for more support and resources for those struggling with addiction. We need to address this issue to prevent future tragedies. My thoughts are with the Werner family.
