Has anyone else been following the Sidney Green case closely? I've been thinking about the four-hour delay between the time of the shooting and when Freddie Green called 911. It’s baffling to me. Imagine being in such a state that you wouldn’t call for help immediately. I know Freddie's actions can't be justified, but I can’t help but wonder what he was going through during those hours. Was he in shock, or was it something else? It's a chilling reminder of how domestic issues can escalate into unthinkable actions. I really feel for Sidney's family, having to come to terms with not just his loss, but also the actions of his own son. This case just gets more unsettling the more you think about it. I'd love to hear what everyone else thinks about this part of the case.

Did anyone else find it really troubling that Freddie waited four hours to call 911 after the shooting? I feel like that's such a long time when you're dealing with something so critical. I can't imagine the confusion and fear he must have experienced, but leaving Sidney alone like that feels off to me. And then to drive to Dayton for heroin in between… it makes me question what was really going on in his mind. On a more positive note, reading about Sidney’s involvement with the Full Gospel Out Reach Church and how the community came together to honor him at his funeral really touched me. It's clear he was well-loved. I hope his family found some comfort in the support from those around them during such a difficult time.
