Has anyone else been following the case involving Collin Doyle? It's incredibly upsetting to hear about his tragic death and how it affected so many lives. I was reading about Armand Batey and can't stop thinking about how drastically his life has changed. It's hard enough to lose a friend in such a horrific way, but to also be left paralyzed as a result of the same incident is unimaginable. My heart truly goes out to both Collin's and Armand's families. It's such a poignant reminder of how a single, senseless act can cause ripple effects that change lives forever. Does anyone know if there are local groups or initiatives in Toledo aiming to curb gun violence? I'd love to hear if any positive steps are being taken in the community to prevent tragedies like this one.

I’ve been following Collin Doyle’s case closely, and I can’t stop thinking about the role that social media played in the events leading up to his tragic death. It seems like so many aspects of our lives, especially for young people, are orchestrated or linked through social media these days. I wonder if the platform they used for that ill-fated meeting made it easier for those arrested to find and target them. It’s terrifying to think about how something meant to connect us can be exploited so maliciously. My heart goes out to Collin’s family and friends as they navigate this devastating loss. I hope this case brings awareness to the risks and triggers some meaningful changes in how we approach online interactions, especially for teens.

Has anyone else looked into Andrew Foster-Martin’s background? It seems like he was just a kid, but ended up involved in something so tragic and horrific. I can’t stop thinking about what might lead someone so young down that path. There’s no excuse for what he did, and my heart goes out to Collin’s family—no one should lose their child like that—but I wonder about the factors that push teens into violence. Is there something more society could be doing to prevent these tragic choices? It’s a lot to unpack, but I think understanding can be a stepping stone toward prevention. Peace to Collin’s family and all who loved him.
