Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the presence of children during the tragic incident involving Charles McDonald Jr. My heart goes out to those little ones who were in the apartment when it all happened. I can't even begin to imagine how terrifying it must have been for them, especially at such a young age. They're going to have to grow up dealing with this, and I really hope there's a support system around them to help mitigate any trauma they might be carrying. For those who might know about these things, do the courts or local social services typically provide any sort of long-term counseling or assistance for kids who are exposed to such violence? It just seems so critical that they get some help early on. If anyone has insights on how these situations are usually handled, I'd love to hear about it.
