I've been thinking a lot about the impact this tragedy has had on Brandon's family and friends. It's been over six years, and still no arrests have been made—or at least none that we're aware of. I can't imagine the frustration and pain his loved ones must be experiencing, knowing that justice hasn't been served yet. What gets me is how senseless it all seems. Brandon was just visiting a friend's place, doing something we all do, and then out of nowhere, his life is taken away. It's terrifying to think about and serves as a stark reminder of how fragile life can be. For anyone who's local to Springfield, have there been any community gatherings or vigils recently to honor Brandon and keep the pressure on for progress in the investigation? I'd love to help keep his memory alive in any way possible and hope that one day, his family finds the justice and peace they deserve.

Has anyone else been thinking about how the drive-by shooting that took Brandon Jamal Dearmond’s life still hasn’t been solved? It's so unsettling knowing that this happened in an area where people live and go about their daily lives. I feel for his family and friends who are left in limbo, waiting for answers and hoping for justice. Does anyone have more information on whether there have been any witness statements or if there's anything the community can do to help move this case forward? The silence surrounding this investigation must be so difficult for those close to him. I just keep wondering how we can ensure that this heartbreaking situation doesn’t get forgotten and Brandon gets the justice he deserves.

It's been over six years since Brandon Jamal Dearmond was tragically killed, and it feels like the case has hit a wall. I wanted to talk a bit about the impact on the family and community. Brandon was clearly loved, and his family has been through so much trying to find answers and justice. It's so tough to see a case where there seem to be no leads or movement forward. The fact that his cousin was right there and survived makes me wonder what they might have seen or heard, but I know not everything can be shared publicly. It’s really important for the community to rally around the family now more than ever. They need support both emotionally and through any new leads people might provide, no matter how small. If anyone has more recent information or updates, please share. It feels so important to amplify the calls for justice. Brandon's memory deserves it, and his family needs closure.
