Hey everyone, I've been following Vance Davis Jr.'s case, and something that's been on my mind is the lack of leads despite what seems to be a thorough investigation. I can't imagine how hard it must be for his family and friends to have so many unanswered questions after more than six years. It's especially baffling because his murder took place in broad daylight, and there must have been potential witnesses who might have seen or heard something around Richmond Street that morning. Does anyone know if there was any surveillance footage from nearby homes or businesses? Sometimes even the smallest piece of information can break a case wide open. I recall other cases where security cameras have been pivotal in tracking movements before and after a crime. Perhaps someone in the community has footage or remembers seeing something that didn't seem significant at the time. My heart really goes out to Vance's loved ones. Every piece of information can make a difference, even if it seems trivial. If any of you are local, maybe there's a renewed effort we can discuss to spread awareness again? More attention could make a world of difference, and I'm sure Akron PD could use any support we can offer in keeping Vance's name and case in the public eye. Stay safe and take care, everyone.
