It’s really unsettling to think about the role that family members played in the aftermath of John Stricklin's murder. Situations like this really show how complicated family dynamics can become. I can’t even begin to understand the turmoil the Stricklin family must have felt when two different firearms were found to be involved, only to get further complicated by Jeremiah and Mary Martin's involvement. It makes you wonder what could drive people to make such decisions. Thinking of the pain that John's family continues to endure, it’s difficult not to feel empathy for them. Kudos to the investigators for sticking with this case and finally bringing some answers to light. These stories remind us just how essential diligence and patience are in bringing justice for victims.
