Just couldn't stop thinking about the immense bravery it must have taken for Chief Disario to rush to the aid of others, especially only having been Police Chief for three weeks. Such a short time on the job but still so committed to protecting his community. It's a reminder of the harsh realities our officers face every day, putting themselves in unimaginable situations with no guarantee of making it back home. Those six kids and a baby on the way—it's just hard to wrap your head around the kind of void his passing has left in his family's life and the Kirkersville community. My heart goes out to his family and everyone who knew him. Chief Disario's actions were heroic, and his legacy will definitely not be forgotten. Anyone heard if there's a fund set up to help support his family?
