Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking about the role the community can play in shedding light on Marquelis Barnes' case. It’s utterly devastating that his life was cut short, and we owe it to him and his family to keep the conversation going. One thing I've been pondering is the power of social media in cases like this. Sometimes, even the smallest piece of seemingly unrelated information can be significant. Have any of you seen similar cases where a social media push or a renewed community effort led to breakthroughs? It would be incredible if we could brainstorm ideas on how to create awareness around Marquelis' case. The more eyes we have looking, the better the chances that someone who knows something will come forward. We need to ensure Quuel-Bandz’s story isn’t forgotten and that his family gets the closure they deserve. Sending strength and love to Marquelis' family and friends. If we can come together as a community, maybe we can help move this case forward. Any ideas or thoughts are wholeheartedly welcome.

I'm really drawn to the little details of Marquelis' life—the ones that paint a picture of who he was and the loss his family and friends must be feeling. I recently read about how he loved to play basketball and spend time with his family; it sounds like he had such a vibrant, active life despite his young age. Being a member of a close-knit community at his church must have brought him, and those around him, real joy. What's particularly baffling is how this case remains unsolved after all these years. It's unimaginable that someone so young and full of potential can be taken away, and yet the answers remain elusive. Why haven't there been more leads? It seems like someone out there must know something. Columbus PD and the cold case unit are still on this, which gives a glimmer of hope that there might one day be answers and, importantly, justice for Marquelis and peace for his family. If anyone has any information, even if it seems small, passing it along could be crucial in solving this case. Keeping Marquelis' memory alive is so important—he deserves to have his story told and his case solved.

Hi everyone, I've been following Marquelis Shaquan Barnes’ case for some time, and one detail about that tragic night keeps coming back to me—the location. The BP Gas Station on East Main Street is a busy area, even late at night. It's hard to imagine that nobody saw or heard anything. I know investigators have combed through available surveillance footage, but I'm curious if anyone else has considered the possibility of witnesses who might be hesitant to come forward? Maybe someone passing by noticed something but didn’t realize its significance at the time. It just feels like there should be more to go on, given the circumstances. If anyone in the Columbus area has thoughts on this or has heard anything, even if it seems small, it could be an important piece of the puzzle. We owe it to Marquelis and his loved ones to keep this discussion alive and help find justice for him. It’s vital that we keep supporting his family and reminding them that they're not alone in this. Stay safe, everyone.
