I’ve been following Dante T. Jones' case, and something that’s been on my mind is the devastating impact this has had on their family. It’s hard to imagine the kind of pain and confusion they must have faced knowing that this horrific act was committed by a family member. Family bonds can be so strong, so this betrayal must have been utterly disorienting for them. The court’s proceedings no doubt brought a sliver of hope for justice, but I can’t help but think about how they must still be grappling with this loss on a personal level. Stay strong, Jones family.
