I was diving through some old articles and came across Steven Nielson's case. Something that caught my eye was the condition of his boat when it was found. Does anyone know if there were any unusual or significant signs on the boat, like damage or any personal items left behind? I find it strange that a boat could be found floating aimlessly with no real evidence or clues onboard. It seems like any small detail might have been overlooked or perhaps not reported publicly. Anyone local to the Kirkland area remember any rumors or theories circulating back when this happened? Every little bit of info helps to piece together the larger puzzle.

Hey everyone, been following the case of Steven Nielson's disappearance for a while now. Something that always seemed odd to me was the condition of his boat when it was found. From what I remember reading, the boat was in good shape and there weren’t any signs of a struggle or collision. It's almost like it was just abandoned—like he stepped off and vanished into thin air. It makes one wonder about all the possibilities, doesn't it? Did he meet someone on the water? Or maybe he was trying to swim to shore for some reason? I feel like the answers must be out there somewhere, maybe someone saw a little detail back then that didn’t seem important at the time. Anyone else have thoughts on what might have happened?
