I've been thinking a lot about Lester Hutchson's case recently, and it's just so sad to see how many lives have been affected by violence in Detroit during that period. May 3, 2012, feels like such a long time ago, yet for Lester's family and friends, I’m sure the pain still feels fresh without any closure. It's frustrating to imagine the challenges law enforcement faced back then—386 homicides that year alone! And with so many cases going unsolved, it's like a constant reminder of the struggles the community faced. I find myself wishing there was more that could be done or that something might change so Lester's loved ones could get the answers they deserve. It’s encouraging to hear about the Cold Case Unit revisiting older cases, but it's a daunting task without new leads. Let’s hope anything, even a small piece of new information, can shed light on what happened to Lester and others in similar situations. Keeping Lester's memory alive might be a small step, but it’s something. Curious if anyone has heard if there’s been any recent movement on his case or any stories that deserve more attention?

Hey everyone, Just thinking about the Lester Hutchson case again today and it just really hits me how tough it must have been for his family and friends in the aftermath. Considering how many families were affected by the rise in homicides in Detroit back in 2012, it's truly daunting to realize how many people are still searching for answers. The lack of resources back then must have been so frustrating for the detectives trying to solve these cases. It's so important to remember that behind each statistic there was a real person with loved ones who miss them every day. It's my hope that as the Cold Case Unit continues their work, more families can finally find some of the closure they deserve. If anyone has any updates or resources that can help, even after all these years, it's always worth sharing to keep Lester’s memory alive. Thoughts are with all the families and friends affected.
