Reading about how Gregory's mother, a principal at St. Joseph Catholic School, must be feeling just breaks my heart. It’s unimaginable to think about the pain of losing a child, let alone how this has affected her students and colleagues too. At Purcell Marian High School, it’s clear that Gregory left a lasting impression on those who knew him. The school's decision to offer counseling services shows just how deeply this loss is being felt. I wonder how the community is continuing to support one another during this difficult time.

I was just reading about Gregory Thompson Jr.'s case and it's really stuck with me. It's so sad to think about the impact his loss has had on the community and especially his school.
