Has anyone else been following the Manley case? I can't get over the complexity of this situation. Barbara sounded like such a wonderful person, so dedicated to her family and community. It's truly a tragedy for everyone involved, especially considering Clyde's Alzheimer's. I've read a lot about the difficulties family members face when dealing with loved ones suffering from cognitive decline and can only imagine how tough things must have been for both Barbara and Clyde before this devastating incident. It’s a real eye-opener about the intersecting issues of mental health, aging, and crime. Would love to hear thoughts from anyone familiar with how courts typically handle similar cases or who has dealt with such challenges themselves. It's just such a tough situation all around.
