I came across a detail in Sorin C. Farcas's case that really struck me—he was just starting out in life, having graduated high school with plans for college at Sinclair Community College. It's crushing to think about how much promise and potential was lost that day in Huber Heights. Sorin seemed like the kind of person who inspired many around him; I can only imagine how much he would have contributed to his community had he been given the chance. It's clear that Sorin left a positive mark on those who knew him, and the community's response speaks volumes about the impact he had. My heart goes out to his family and friends who are still navigating this unimaginable loss. How are they doing now, years later? I hope they’ve found some support and strength within the community during these difficult years.
