Hey everyone,
I’ve been reading through some posts about Jared Lee Belton’s case, and it’s really stuck with me. I keep thinking about how isolating it must feel for his loved ones, especially with such limited witness cooperation. It’s frustrating knowing there are people who might hold crucial pieces of this puzzle but aren’t coming forward.
Given the time frame and the context of violence in the area back in 2013, I wonder if fear is keeping witnesses silent. If anyone has ideas on measures that could encourage people to speak up safely, I think it might help not just in seeking justice for Jared but also for making communities safer.
My heart goes out to those who knew Jared. They deserve answers and peace.
Did anyone else hear about the shooting of Jared Lee Belton in San Bernardino back in 2013? I've been following the case and feel for his family and friends who must be going through a lot. It's incredibly unfair that witnesses weren't cooperative with the investigators. I get that people might be scared to come forward, especially in an area with so much violence, but it still makes my stomach turn thinking justice might not be served because of it. I hope that someday someone can provide the missing piece that leads to an arrest. Has there been any update over the years? Also, does anyone else feel like the community could do more to encourage people to speak up? I wonder if more protection or anonymity could've helped back then.
