Did anyone else find it odd that Dora's van was found only two miles from her home? It seems like such a short distance for someone to abandon a vehicle, especially if they were trying not to get noticed. I've been looking at the map, and there are so many places she could have gone that aren't far off. It makes me wonder if she intended to come back soon or if something unexpected happened right after she left. Also, has there been any talk about who might have had access to her van keys? That's something that keeps coming back to me because with all the searches coming up empty, it really feels like someone knew what they were doing and had the time to cover their tracks. Everyone please keep sharing, maybe someone will remember something.
Hi everyone, I've been thinking about Dora Marie Silva's case and something has been sticking out to me. Has anyone looked into the area where her van was found in more detail? It's just odd to me that her vehicle was left near Mission Hills but there's no trace of her. The location could be key to understanding more about what happened that night. Were there any security cameras nearby back in '99 that might have captured something? Or maybe local businesses that might have some leads? This case really needs fresh eyes, and I'd love to hear what others think about this aspect.
I’ve been reading up on Dora Marie Silva’s case, and something that caught my attention is the timing of her van being abandoned. It’s so strange to think it was left so close to home, just hanging there with no leads after almost 25 years. Did anyone ever mention if there were cameras around the area where the van was found? Given that it was Mother’s Day weekend, I wonder if maybe someone in the neighborhood might have seen something unusual. It's frustrating to think about how the key to this mystery could be hidden in some overlooked detail. I just hope someone comes forward with new information soon.
