I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact on the community after Theresa Goldwin's tragic death outside Club X-Rated. It’s devastating to see how a night meant for enjoyment turned into such a terrible event. I grew up not far from Lakeside Avenue, and it’s unnerving to think something like this could happen so close to home. From what I’ve gathered, the whole neighborhood felt a wave of shock and disbelief after the shooting.
It’s comforting to hear that many locals have been coming forward to support Theresa's family in whatever way they can. I think that shows just how tight-knit and caring the community can be.
