I've been really puzzled about how Peter Martin Arnsdorff's friends handled the situation on April 27, 2000. It's been giving me a lot to think about. So, Peter told them to come find him if he didn’t check in by 7:00 p.m. Knowing how things turned out, I'm curious if anyone thinks it was unusual for them to head straight to Bonny Doon Beach rather than trying to contact him first. With cell phones not being as pervasive back then, maybe it wasn’t an option, but still—a quick call could have been crucial. Does anyone know more about their reasoning or what kind of communication they had access to at that time? I'm trying to piece together what could have happened in those vital hours. This case is murky, and I feel like even the smallest detail could be significant.
