Hey everyone, I was just revisiting Mark Lane Smith's case and something struck me about his disappearance. His green 1995 GMC Yukon hasn't been found either. I remember reading somewhere that it's pretty tough to make a whole vehicle disappear without a trace. Even if it was taken to a chop shop, wouldn't at least some parts pop up eventually? Does anyone have thoughts on whether the vehicle's disappearance could point to a planned vanishing or something more sinister? It's been over two decades, and it feels like finding that Yukon might hold the key to cracking this case open. Curious about your theories on where it might be or why it hasn't surfaced.

Has anyone else looked into the interesting detail about Mark Lane Smith's vehicle? His green 1995 GMC Yukon with the license plate 3NVW067 disappeared along with him on August 25, 2001. It's bizarre that no trace of the SUV has ever been found. Considering it's such a distinctive vehicle, you'd think someone would have spotted it over the years or maybe even seen it abandoned somewhere. I've read cases where a missing person’s car was eventually found in an unexpected place—maybe submerged in water or covered in growth deep in a forest. I wonder if there have been any searches in remote areas close to Moreno Valley? Or what about databases that track vehicles that haven't been registered for years? If anyone has connections or ideas on how to dig deeper into that angle, it might be worthwhile. Thoughts?
