I’ve been thinking a lot about the unimaginable pain that Gannon Hillman’s mother must be feeling. As a nurse, she knew exactly what to do when she found him, but she couldn’t save him, and I can't fathom how heart-wrenching that must be for her. It’s tragic enough to lose a child, but to be the one trying to administer life-saving aid to them is something no parent should ever have to go through.
The level of violence and disregard for human life in this case is disturbing. Firing shots through a window into a home, where a family is supposed to feel safe, is an act of pure cowardice. It’s infuriating that the person responsible for this hasn't been caught. I just hope the community continues to rally around the family and supports them through this nightmare. They need us right now more than ever.
I’m holding out hope that someone, somewhere has a piece of information that will crack this case wide open. If you’re out there and you know something, anything, please come forward. It’s time for Gannon’s family to have the justice and peace they deserve. My thoughts are with them.

With Gannon's two young boys now growing up without their father, I can't begin to imagine what the family is going through. It’s a stark reminder of how gun violence doesn’t just take lives; it leaves a ripple effect, forever altering the lives of those left behind. If anyone reading this knows something, no matter how small, please consider reaching out to the authorities. Gannon and his family deserve justice, and his sons deserve answers.
