Has anyone else been following the updates on the justice process for Nickole Coleman? I was particularly struck by the community's response to the verdict. It's evident that the Akron community really came together during this devastating time. I attended a couple of the vigils that were held in her honor, and it was truly moving to see the outpouring of love and support for Nickole and her family. It's moments like these when the strength of community solidarity really shines through. Even though nothing can bring Nickole back, I hope her loved ones find some comfort in knowing that so many people are standing with them. It's so important to keep her memory alive and continue advocating for less violence in our neighborhoods. I've also been thinking a lot about the role that DNA and ballistics played in solving this case. It's a testament to the advancements in forensic science and how they can bring perpetrators to justice.
