I can't stop thinking about the impact this tragedy must have on Brandon's family and friends. Losing someone so young and with his whole life ahead of him is just unimaginable. The fact that it happened in a place meant for learning and community, a library, is even more unsettling. It's a reminder of how violence can touch any corner of our lives, even spaces we consider safe. While there's some focus on how things unfolded in the library, it seems there’s not much discussion about what preventative measures might be needed. Is anyone aware if steps are being taken to increase security in public spaces around Cleveland or perhaps other libraries in response to this? It seems like more awareness and preventative actions could be crucial here, not just for the community where this tragedy occurred but elsewhere too. Hoping for justice for Brandon and that his family finds some form of peace during this difficult time.
