It's been over four years since Damon Sims was taken from his family, and it's truly frustrating to see that justice still hasn't been served. I can't even begin to imagine the pain Damon's uncle, Daniel, and the rest of his family must be going through, knowing the police have a suspect but are at a standstill without someone willing to testify. It feels like this case has hit a brick wall, and with everything that’s happened since 2019, it seems the urgency has faded. Does anyone know if there have been any community efforts to support the investigation or to encourage witnesses to step forward? It’s disheartening to think that someone out there might hold the key to solving this case. I hope the community can come together to support the Sims family and apply some pressure to keep Damon's case on the radar. Everyone deserves justice, and Damon’s case shouldn’t be an exception. Let’s keep talking about him and supporting his loved ones as they continue to seek answers.

I've been following the Damon Sims case closely, and I can't imagine the pain his family must be feeling with no closure after all this time. One aspect that really stands out to me is the claim that the police know who the suspect is. I get that they need someone to testify, but it's baffling—and must be immensely frustrating for Damon's loved ones—knowing the person responsible is still out there. It makes me wonder about community safety and if there are others who might be too afraid to speak up. I hope anyone with information finds the courage to come forward, not just for Damon but for the safety of everyone in Youngstown. Let's keep this conversation going and show support for his family in their pursuit of justice.

Hey everyone, I've been following Damon Sims' case on and off, and something that caught my attention is the role that community support—or the lack thereof—can play in solving such cases. It's really upsetting to think that someone might know something but is too scared or unwilling to come forward. I understand that people might be afraid of retribution or getting involved in a legal process, but I wish the community could band together in some way. Is there perhaps a new initiative for witness protection or community meetings that could encourage people to speak up? Damon's family deserves closure, and it feels like there's potential for community-driven change to bring about justice. If anyone hears of any local efforts or ideas on how to make it easier for witnesses to talk, please share. It's hard to watch a family suffer and a community live in fear of speaking out.
