Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Dearius Lee, and I can’t stop thinking about how his family and friends are coping amidst such a profound loss. It’s truly troubling that even after all this time, there seems to be no concrete leads or developments in finding who’s responsible. It makes me wonder about the impact of gun violence on communities and why so many cases seem to hit a wall. It seems like Cleveland could really use more resources or programs focused on reducing violence and tracking down leads in cases like Dearius’. To those who knew Dearius, I can only imagine how difficult it is not to have answers. I hope that someday, someone will step forward with information that can bring some closure to his loved ones. If anyone has thoughts on what more could be done to push these investigations forward, I’d love to hear them. Maybe there’s something we can advocate for to help in these situations.
