I've been following the case of Dimehz Phillips, and the more I learn, the more my heart goes out to his family, especially to his young sons who will grow up without their father's presence. It's really impactful to see how the community came together to support them during such a distressing time. I came across a post about the GoFundMe campaign for Dimehz’s family, and it was deeply moving to see so many people contribute what they could to help ease the financial burden of losing a loved one so suddenly. What stands out to me is the solidarity shown by neighbors and friends, reminding us of the goodness in people even amidst such tragedy. It’s enraging that Dimehz’s life was cut short, and while it's reassuring that some form of justice was served, I can't help but think about the long-term impact on all involved, especially considering Treshawn Crooks’ young age too. Just hoping this serves as a wake-up call for more preventive measures against gun violence in communities like ours. Sending all my love and prayers to Dimehz's family. They remain in my thoughts.
