I've been following the case of Shareef Martez Tillman, and I can't stop thinking about how chaotic and terrifying that scene at Summit Square Townhouses must have been. A night that began with an argument ended in such a senseless tragedy. It's scary to imagine being caught in the middle of something like that, with bullets flying and nowhere to run. As someone who's lived in a community where violence is a reality, this really hits close to home. It’s awful that Kenyatta Davonna Miliner allegedly made the choice to use a firearm in that moment. My heart goes out to Shareef's family and all those who had to witness this horrifying event. I'm hopeful that the investigation will bring clarity and justice for Shareef’s loved ones. Stay strong, Dayton.

It’s so tragic to hear about Shareef Tillman’s passing, and my heart goes out to his loved ones. I’ve been thinking a lot about how gun violence never just affects one person—it ripples out to touch entire families and communities. I came across a local news piece that mentioned how cherished Shareef was among his friends for his infectious smile and positive energy. It’s hard to fathom how someone so full of life could be taken away so suddenly. Has anyone else been following the pressures being put on local authorities regarding this case? Given how the investigation is progressing, I wonder about the broader implications for preventing similar tragedies in the area. It seems like the community is really pulling together to call for action and change, which is powerful to see amidst such a painful situation. What are others hearing or feeling on that front?
