Vee's story really hit me hard. I can't stop thinking about his kids and how they're dealing with the loss of their dad. Growing up without a father is tough, especially when he was such a positive figure in your life. By all accounts, Vernon was such a stand-up guy and deeply involved in his children's lives. I hope they have a strong support system around them. Losing their dad in such a violent way must leave so many unanswered questions. I’m hopeful they receive the support and counseling needed to process everything and keep Vernon’s memory alive in a positive way. It’s clear he touched so many lives, and his legacy will continue through those who knew and loved him.
