It's really hard to wrap my head around the sentence Walls received. Can we talk about how the system sometimes seems to let families down? Milton Roberts' family must be going through an unimaginable time, not only with his tragic loss but also the legal outcome. A 6 to 8 1/2-year sentence for a life taken feels like a slap in the face. I can't imagine how their frustration must weigh on them every day. It makes you wonder if the justice system truly serves the victims or if it leaves families like the Roberts feeling unheard. Sending all my support to them as they continue to seek justice for Milton. ?
