I've been following Taryn Simmons' case and can't stop thinking about the impact this has had on her little one. It's so tragic to think of a child growing up without their mother because of such a senseless act. I can't even imagine how confused and lost they must feel. This little one is going to need so much love and support from family as they grow up, and it just breaks my heart. I truly hope Taryn's family finds the strength to rally around the child and help them understand who their mother was, not as a victim, but as a loving mom who cared deeply for them. It's stories like these that really shed light on the far-reaching consequences of domestic violence, affecting even the youngest, most innocent lives. Sending all my thoughts and prayers to Taryn’s family and friends, especially to the child. Let's continue to raise awareness about domestic violence and ensure victims have the support they need to stay safe. Anyone else thinking about ways we can support families going through this kind of trauma?

I still can't get over how tragic and unnecessary Taryn Simmons’ death was. What's been on my mind lately is how this all could have been prevented. It's clear that there was a history of domestic violence with Edward Culler, and the 2017 incident should have been a major wake-up call. It just makes me so frustrated that the system failed to protect her. Why was Culler even on the streets after such a serious charge in the past? I think about Taryn’s little one who now has to grow up without their mom because of such a senseless act. It really makes you wonder what more can be done to prevent this from happening to someone else. What changes do you think could be implemented to actually help people like Taryn before it's too late?
