Has anyone else been looking into the background concerning the emergency response to the Over-the-Rhine shootings on August 16, 2020? It’s distressing to think about how overwhelmed the first responders must have been, given the magnitude of the situation. With 18 people shot and only so many resources to go around, it's no surprise there were challenges in handling everything swiftly. I can’t help but wonder how the lack of immediate medical attention may have impacted the outcomes for some of the victims, especially Robert Rogers and Jaquiez Grant. It's commendable that some victims were transported by private means, albeit a last resort. It really shines a light on the broader issue of emergency preparedness in high-density areas hit by unexpected violence. Let's hope the ongoing investigations and community discussions lead to not only justice for Robert but also more support and preparation for our emergency services. It's crucial for saving lives and bringing some solace to families and friends who have lost loved ones in such horrific circumstances.
