I've been following the discussions around Donald Eugene Bailey’s tragic death, and one aspect that really hit me is how the community has responded to gun violence awareness since the incident. It’s been two years now, and there seems to be a growing conversation in Akron about implementing more community programs focused on conflict resolution and violence prevention. I came across a local group that's organizing workshops to teach young people constructive ways to handle disputes without resorting to violence. It’s amazing to see neighbors coming together to support each other and work towards a safer community in honor of those, like Bailey, we've lost too soon. Does anyone here know of similar efforts in the area or ways we might help ensure these programs get the support they need? It seems like a small step, but it could make a huge difference in preventing tragedies like this from happening again.
