I was reading about Alfred Skinner's case, and I can't help but feel for his family and friends who have waited so long for answers. It’s so disheartening that there are so many unsolved cases in Detroit. What really stuck out to me about this case is the location—Anglin Street. It seems like a hotspot for problems back then. Was there ever any effort by the community or local authorities to increase safety measures or patrols in that area after the incident? It feels like it might help deter future crimes and perhaps encourage more people to come forward with information if they felt safer. It's tough knowing there are so many families left in limbo—justice feels long overdue.
Hey everyone. I've been following Alfred Skinner's case and something that keeps gnawing at me is the city's backlog of unsolved homicides. It's incredibly frustrating knowing there are so many cases without justice, and Alfred's is one of them. It makes me wonder, are there enough resources being allocated towards solving these cases, especially with the rise in violence we saw in Detroit back in 2012? It's a reminder of how important community cooperation is in these investigations. Someone out there knows something. I feel so deeply for Alfred's family and friends. They deserve closure. Keeping them in my thoughts today as they continue to wait for answers.
