I recently read about Marquise "Chop" Buxton's case, and my heart goes out to his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. I've been following the discussions about Charles Lightning being a person of interest and the obstruction of justice charges against him. It's unsettling to think about the connections, especially since his blood was found at the crime scene.
I can't help but wonder what really happened that day. How did Lightning end up at St. Elizabeth Health Center with claims of being shot elsewhere? The inconsistencies are confusing, and I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for Marquise's loved ones to see the investigation drag on without concrete answers. I hope that ongoing efforts in the community can bring some much-needed understanding and justice for Marquise.
Has anyone else been following the updates on this case? I’d be interested to hear other thoughts or theories on what might unfold next.
Hey everyone,
I just keep thinking about the role the community might play in solving Marquise "Chop" Buxton's murder. It’s so difficult to fathom that someone could be taken so violently on a typical evening, right in a local parking lot we’ve probably all passed by countless times. It makes me wonder if someone in the area might have seen something that they don’t even realize is important. There’s potential that an unnoticed witness or surveillance footage could hold a key piece of the puzzle.
Given that it happened during a relatively busy time, around 6 p.m., maybe someone in the drive-thru or even locals just grabbing a bite might recall something. If anyone here knows folks who frequent that part of Market Street or who might’ve been there, it could be worthwhile to gently ask if they remember anything unusual from that night.
My heart goes out to Marquise's family who must be feeling the enormity of this loss every day. It’s a reminder of how crucial community cooperation is in times like these, and how, by banding together, we might inch closer to justice for Marquise. If anyone has contacts in the area, it might help to further the local conversations. Let’s hope for a breakthrough soon.
