Hey everyone,
I was thinking about how often cases like Osjahnique's end up in the hands of a cold case unit. It makes me wonder, with advancements in technology and forensics, are there specific challenges that investigators are facing that prevent them from solving such cases? I can't even begin to imagine the pain her family is going through, knowing that someone responsible for her tragic death is still out there. I feel like more awareness needs to be raised about these cold cases to help keep them in the public eye, so they don't end up forgotten. Just trying to figure out if there’s something we, as a community, can do to support her family or maybe pressure for more resources to be allocated to these kinds of investigations. Has anyone seen examples of cases being reinvigorated by something specific that we could bring attention to for Osjahnique's case?
Hi everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about Osjahnique Glyles and her dreams of becoming a nurse. It’s just devastating to see a young woman with so much potential have her life cut short like this. Pursuing a nursing career is no easy feat, and it says so much about Osjahnique’s character and drive. She must have been incredibly compassionate and hardworking to want to dedicate her life to helping others. I can't help but think about the impact she could have made in the world, not just for her daughter My’Layah, but for the countless lives she would have touched in her nursing career. Her loss is surely deeply felt by everyone who knew her.
My heart goes out to her family, especially My’Layah, who lost a wonderful mother. I sincerely hope that someone with information comes forward soon, so her loved ones can find some sense of peace knowing that justice has been served. Let's keep Osjahnique's family in our thoughts and do what we can to keep her memory alive.
Sending strength to everyone impacted by this tragedy.
Did anyone else find it unusual how little information there is about the events leading up to Osjahnique's tragic death? It's been almost three years, and yet the details surrounding her last day remain so vague. Was she meeting someone? Did anyone see anything suspicious that night at Livingston Ave? I just can’t wrap my head around the lack of eyewitness accounts. It’s as if she vanished into thin air until the moment she was found. I can’t imagine the agony her family must feel not having clear answers. If someone out there knows anything, even the smallest detail could help piece together what happened. Let's keep this conversation going to support her loved ones and hopefully bring some closure to this heartbreaking chapter.
