I can't stop thinking about the impact this must have had on Deontray's family and friends, especially knowing he was just unknowingly caught in the midst of all this. It’s so hard to comprehend how someone could be so reckless and put so many lives at risk. I heard about the number of shots fired, and it just seems like such a cold and callous act. Kudos to the investigators and prosecutors for bringing Carl Godfrey to justice, but it doesn’t fill the void left by Otis’s absence. For everyone who knew him, it must feel like there's just an empty space that never truly heals. I hope this case can be a wake-up call for the community to come together and find ways to prevent such tragedies in the future.
