I've been following Kimberly Marcum's case, and it just weighs heavily on my heart. I keep thinking about how she'd planned to return home to Chillicothe. It's a reminder of how fragile life is; one moment she had hopes and plans, and the next, everything was taken from her. It's difficult not to wonder about what could have been – what if she had taken a different path home or if someone had been there to help her? Such senseless violence makes my head spin. I hope for her family's sake that the police find the person responsible. It’s so unfair that they have to live with this pain, and I can’t imagine how they manage the day-to-day without answers. If anyone out there knows something, please, share it. Families like Kimberly's deserve some peace, at the very least.
