I’ve been digging into Yolanda Lopez's case and found myself curious about the message her friend received indicating she might have returned to Mexico with her sons. Does anyone know if there’s been any follow-up on this lead? I’m wondering if they ever interviewed those sons or if any attempt was made to trace the message. It could just be a red herring, but it seems like it might have been worth exploring more thoroughly. The whole thing just feels odd to me. Anyone else have thoughts or know more about what investigators might have done to look into this? Hoping for any updates or insights from you all!
I was just going through some old missing persons cases and came across Yolanda Lopez's disappearance in 2009. Does anyone else find it strange how a supposed acquaintance claimed she went back to Mexico, but there's no solid evidence to back this up? I wonder if the authorities ever looked into that person's background more thoroughly. It just seems off to me that an unknown source would have info about her whereabouts when her close friends and family didn’t.
