I came across Timoteo "Timmy" Carlos Cruz's story recently and was deeply moved by the immense bravery he demonstrated during the tragic incident at the bar. It’s incredibly chilling to think about the courage it must have taken for him to step up and protect others in such a dangerous situation. I can't imagine the pain his family must be feeling, knowing he put himself in harm's way to save lives.
It's frustrating and baffling that there haven't been any updates on potential suspects or arrests. What’s the hold-up? It's been over two years, and it feels like his family deserves more answers by now. Is there any new information I may have missed? How is it that someone so honorable could be taken from us in such a senseless act, and yet not much has been done to bring those responsible to justice? If anyone has more insights or thoughts about the case, I’d love to hear them. Keeping Timmy and his loved ones in my thoughts.
I’ve been deeply moved by Timmy's story and the incredible courage he showed on that tragic night. It’s hard to imagine the pain his family and colleagues at Cuyahoga County Corrections must be feeling, knowing he’s no longer with them. I’ve always heard how tight-knit the officer community is, and I've seen posts mentioning how much his presence is missed by those who worked alongside him. It’s amazing to see how many lives he touched through his work, especially in a job that’s so often thankless and challenging.
I’m curious if there were any initiatives or memorials started in his honor. Sometimes communities rally to create scholarships or support groups to keep the memory alive of those who made such an impact.
