Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Sean Michael Acierno and can't stop thinking about the tragic night outside the Rookie Sports Bar & Grill. Something that's been on my mind is the bravery shown by Timoteo Cruz. It's incredibly brave to step up in such a dangerous situation, especially when you’re off-duty. As a corrections officer, he must have had such a clear sense of duty to protect and serve, even when he didn’t have to. It breaks my heart thinking about his family and friends. Losing someone who was trying to make sure everyone else was safe... it's a heavy sacrifice. I'm sure he was a beloved figure in his circles and at his workplace, having such a significant role in the community. I hope his story is told alongside Sean’s, as both acts have undoubtedly left lasting impacts. I know Sean's family has created a memorial scholarship to honor his memory, which is such a profound way to keep his spirit alive. It would be fitting if there were also some way to honor Tim’s courage and dedication. Both these lives were stolen too soon, but through community memory and support, perhaps their legacies can help bring some light to others. Sending lots of love to everyone affected by this senseless tragedy. ❤️
