Hey everyone,
I've been deep diving into the Billie and Mary Lou Black case recently, and something that's been gnawing at me is the description of their car. A 1990 Honda Civic with a loud exhaust and missing paint on the hood should be pretty recognizable, right? It's fascinating and baffling to me that there seem to be zero sightings of their vehicle, even though it was such a standout! Especially in a small community like Atchison, you'd think someone would've caught wind of it rolling through at some point. I'm curious if any other cases had similar situations where such a distinctive car disappeared without a trace? Or could it be that the car was hidden somehow? What do you all think happened? Would love to hear your thoughts or if there's been any other similar situations in missing person cases.
I came across the Billie and Mary Lou Black case today, and something that stands out to me is their old Honda Civic. It’s described as having a loud exhaust and missing paint on the hood, which makes me wonder if anyone in the area might remember hearing it or seeing it that night. Atchison is not that big of a place, and a car making that kind of noise around 8:15 PM might have caught someone's attention. Has there been any follow-up on people who lived nearby roads leading towards the Missouri River or anyone who might’ve had a late-night walk or lived next to usual paths or crossings? It seems such a distinct car could’ve drawn more notice, especially since it vanished without a trace just like Billie and Mary. Maybe reaching out to more residents who were around at that time or even checking old social media posts from that night could jog someone's memory.
